Pack Your Life

During the time when I was working in the banking sector, I happened to be affected with severe anxiety and depression due to excessive work pressure. That’s when I decided to seek the help of a psychiatrist friend of mine who informed me that I was not alone as according to a survey, every sixth Indian needs medical intervention for their mental health issues and this problem has yet to receive widespread attention as most people do not come out with their problems in the country. So what do you think can be the best course of action ahead?? That is exactly what I am going to share with you here in this article so that you can steer your life in the right direction by taking a much-needed break and going for a mini-vacation.

How will I plan the vacation??

As my friend advised me, a brief holiday can work wonders for us if we are feeling overburdened with our daily lives and hectic schedules. Here are a few tips for you on how to go about the same:

    • Firstly, convince your peers and superiors at the workplace and in your family about the need to take a brief reprieve so that you can come back fresher and better than ever before.
    • Then, plan the destination of your vacation according to your choice but your best bet would be a seaside resort or a quiet hill station where you can relax and enjoy nature’s beauty in all it’s glory.
    • After that, you have to decide with whom you want to spend the vacation. Always choose cheerful and positive people who can enlighten you and lift up your spirit just by their mere presence.
    • Then, after you reach your holiday resort, forget all about the worries and responsibilities that you have left behind and just meditate by listening to soothing music and take in the beauty of your surroundings through your senses whether it is a calm seabeach or the scenery of a quiet hill station.

Never ever think about your work or any other problems while at your vacation and instead keep yourself busy by enjoying some light moments with your friends or family members. Always keep in mind that the memories of these fond moments and good times and the period of rest and relaxation that you get during your cherished vacation will keep you going and enable you to boldly face all your life’s hurdles and challenges once you get back refreshed and  rejuvenated.

So, whenever, life’s never-ending problems seem to hit you hard and knock you down, always be sure to give   yourself a nice little break by visiting a place where you can rest and recover to get back up in time even   stronger than before. It’s very easy to give up but fighting on requires courage. Do you think that you have got   what it takes to overcome all odds??

If your answer is yes, then never allow your mind to control you but find a way to control it instead and get your life back on track now !!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Image Source: Google Images.
